<p>Harmony House is situated in Walmer Estate in the heart of Cape Town. Harmony House is a treatment centre specialising in the extended care and treatment of addictive disorders including <strong>drug addiction, alcoholism, eating disorders, gambling and sex addiction</strong></p>
<p>We offer a residential program designed to assist addicts in making behavioural changes thereby enhancing their long-term prognosis for sustained recovery from addiction. Our expert staff complement has a wide range of experience and expertise. Our commitment to excellence, our dedicated staff and our holistic, evidence-based approach to treatment creates an environment that promotes positive and sustained change. We have 18 beds and accept males and females over the age of 18.</p>
<p>We are partnered with international referral networks and receive clients from all over the world. We also have the Tertiary Facility, Serendipity (State-registered), and four Satellite House facilities formally linked to Harmony House, which, with 52 beds inclusive of Harmony House, makes us one of the most comprehensive and independent 12-step treatment facilities in South Africa.</p>

<p><strong>Faces and Voices of Recovery South Africa</strong></p>
<p><span>FAVOR 					    SA</span> is a non-profit organization focused on <span>RECOVERY</span> from 					  alcohol and other drug problems, serving as a resource 					    to improve the well being of individuals, families and 					    communities. <span><br />

</span><span>F</span><span>AVOR 					    SA </span>was 					  set up by people in recovery from addiction, together with 					    their friends, families and volunteers. We deliver a 					    range of informational, educational and support services 					    through our evidence based programmes and dedicated service 					    delivery. Our programs are <span>international</span> <span>approved</span> and 					    tailor made to address specific problems as faced 					    by the individual, the family, the school, workplace 		        and the community.<span> We are</span> a National Advocacy Group with our headquarters 					  in Cape Town. Our members are people in recovery, their families and friends. 					  We have real miracles of recovery to show, real success stories to talk 					  about, and our organization is made up of persons with experience in Recovery.</p>
<p><strong>Our Objectives:</strong></p>
<ul style="margin-bottom: 0pt;" type="disc">
<li><span>S</span>how by example that <span>Recovery                             IS a Reality</span> and encourage         others to enter into treatment and support programmes;</li>
<li><span>U</span>ndertake individual <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span>Assessments and Refferals</span></span> to Qualified and Approved Treatment Programs;</li>
<li><span>A</span>ctively be involved in <span>preventative work</span> and to deliver evidence-based 					    informational and educational programmes to our schools, workplaces 					    and communities;</li>
<li><span>P</span><span>rovide Support Programmes</span> to the continuum of treatment services 					    as a way of assisting individuals and families actively working a recovery 				      plan and to provide long term recovery support.</li>
<li><span>S</span><span>upport and assist</span> individuals and families 					      through our internationally approved <span>INFORMATION, 					      EDUCATION. PREVENTION and SUPPORT </span>programmes  to develop 					      and sustain sobriety-based rituals of daily living, 				      rebuilding lives, healing families, and repairing communities;</li>
<li><span>P</span>rovide a <span>FREE</span> ‘One-Stop’ Portal 					      for <span>INFORMATION, EDUCATION, PREVENTION AND SUPPORT</span> on Substance Misuse from selected Local and International 				      website links;</li>
<li><span>O</span>rganize <span>National Advocacy Campaigns</span> to 			          end discrimination and stigma against people in recovery;</li>
</ul>
