The core of PUSH’s activities are focused on behaviour change, care and support in the general public through community based HIV/AIDS programs in Eldorado Park and surrounding informal settlers in Johannesburg.

Objectives:

• To strengthen HIV/AIDS information strategies that promote sustainable behaviour change among the general public.

• Provide Voluntary HIV Counselling and Testing Services as a prevention strategy.

• Provide Home Based Care Services to bedridden & terminally ill individuals and families.

• Assist individuals and their families to develop coping mechanisms to mitigate the impact of HIV/AIDS.

• Assist the private sector with developing HIV/AIDS prevention programs for the work place
